The final countdown

It's finally here LEAVERS WEEK 2011!

This post is mainly to enable me to put out an urgent request.  If anyone has a copy of the Romeo and Juliet DVD from February, can you please bring it in tomorrow so that I can produce a master copy! The original has gone walk-a-bout!  Thank you.

The production DVD is burning overnight tonight, think it's all edited and ready, so Leavers Week here we come....

Tag to Twickenham 2011 Finalists!

Well done to the team from Suttons!  What a dynamic group of 12 individuals, having made it through 2 group stages over the past 6 months, we qualified amongst the top 16 (out of 250) schools!  A fantastic achievement.  Unfortunately we were a little rusty today, and didn't do quite as well as expected, never-the-less some stand out performances from children:

Josh W - Always shaking hands and saying well done post match, to the winning team
Joe - Some fantastic sprinting
Tia and Marius - after being drafted in late to the squad, they learnt fast and had a few good games

Overall - I was proud of you, you represented the spirit of Suttons well. Congratulations.

Easter Holiday Diaries

In response to a few conversations last term I have been busy trying to improve the blog.  I hope the new calendar is useful to keep you informed.  One comment I read over the past few days was a request for me to write a holiday diary also!  So here goes...

  • Put up at Bay window pole
  • Went to visit JohnnyK and DannyH in Oxford for a few days
  • Cleaned and oiled the decking
  • Cut the grass
  • Tidied the garden

And that's only 5 days... what's next I wonder?!
